What you'll be doing
As a Chronic & Complex Community Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing assessment, care coordination and evidence-based clinical interventions to support clients with diverse and often complex healthcare needs.
You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective and client-centred care.
·Conduct holistic nursing assessments and develop tailored care plans
·Coordinate and deliver evidence-based clinical care, monitoring and education
·Partner with clients, carers and families to achieve individual healthcare goals
·Manage complex caseloads while responding proactively to changing clinical needs
·Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to clinical review and quality improvement activities

About the role
Grafton Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to actively participate in the Transition to Practice Intensive Care Program and complete requirements for a post graduate certificate Critical Care during the Program.

- The Registered Nurse – Prostate Brachytherapy Research provides clinical and research support to the prostate brachytherapy service at the St George Hospital Cancer Care Centre. The role is responsible for coordinating the collection of clinical and treatment-related information from patients undergoing prostate brachytherapy, including demographic, treatment and toxicity data obtained during initial consultation and follow-up visits.
- The position supports the development and maintenance of a prostate brachytherapy clinical database by ensuring accurate, timely and complete data capture in accordance with approved research protocols, governance requirements and local policies.
- Working within a multidisciplinary team that includes radiation oncologists, urologists, medical physicists and nursing staff, the role facilitates high-quality clinical data collection to support clinical research, service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives within the prostate brachytherapy program.
- The Registered Nurse – Prostate Brachytherapy Research conducts patient interactions in outpatient clinic settings, administers validated questionnaires, performs toxicity grading where appropriate, and ensures clinical information is accurately recorded and entered into the prostate brachytherapy REDCap database.

About the Role
The Registered Nurse as a Clinical Research Coordinator at AW Morrow Gastroenterology and Liver Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is an integral member of the clinical research team. What you'll be doing
The Clinical Midwifery Specialist Lactation Midwife provides high‑quality, individualised, woman‑centred lactation and breastfeeding care within a supportive multidisciplinary team, exercising extended clinical autonomy and sound clinical decision‑making. Delivers direct clinical care as required to maintain safe and effective service delivery and respond to clinical priorities across the maternity service. Work collaboratively as an advocate for women and families and as a role model, resource, and mentor to, midwifery staff.
Contribute to the ongoing development of lactation services by implementing, maintaining, and evaluating policies, standards, and clinical practice guidelines relating to lactation and infant feeding including Baby friendly health Initiative (BFHI) accreditation.
Selection Criteria
- Current midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a minimum of three (3) years full time equivalent post midwifery qualification experience.
- Current International Board‑Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification, or actively working towards IBCLC certification, with a demonstrated willingness and commitment to maintaining IBCLC certification, including meeting ongoing professional development and recertification requirements.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and recent clinical experience in midwifery care, including the assessment and management of complex breastfeeding and lactation issues for women and babies within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated application of evidence‑based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised, woman‑centred care, with a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement, service development, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high‑quality midwifery care in accordance with relevant legislation, organisational policies, procedures, and clinical practice guidelines, with accountability for professional practice.
- Highly developed written, verbal and digital communication skills, including effective use of information technology, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with women, families, and members of the multidisciplinary team.

What you'll be doing
Provides clinical training at a ward/unit level by formulating and delivering in-service educational programs; assessment and demonstration of clinical procedures. Fostering a preceptor/mentor role that supports less experienced staff to enhance their clinical skills development to achieve people focused quality care.
Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife.
- Relevant post registration clinical or education qualifications and/or current Certificate as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor or willingness to work towards certification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the relevant clinical/speciality area with a demonstrated knowledge of competency/skills requirements for staff to achieve quality clinical care.
- Demonstrated experience as a preceptor/mentor/coacher with the proven ability to use contemporary education and teaching methods to develop and motivate staff towards a learning culture.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, deliver and evaluate education and learning activities to meet individual learning needs, using adult learning principles and current best practice models.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer skills and use of software programs to develop and deliver education.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and a commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills for a workplace trainer and assessor.
- Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
