To be successful in this role:
As a Registered Nurse on a operating room team composed of patient-centred nurses, you are an effective communicator who adapts easily to various situations. You naturally demonstrate compassion and empathy toward patients. With a solutions-focused mindset, you prioritise the patient's needs in every decision you make, and you enjoy working collaboratively with your team.
You will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience is required
- Flexibility to work across more than 1 location and those who are able to work across different roles is highly regarded
Position Description Inherent Requirements (Perioperative)
- Current RN AHPRA registration
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing if applicable will be highly regarded but not essential

What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) is an extended role within the scope of a Registered Nurse/Midwife that provides safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network
Acts as an appropriate and effective role model to promote culture and standards that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
Provides senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.
Provides advanced skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making while working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
•Exercises extended autonomy of decision making;
•Exercises professional knowledge and judgement in providing complex care requiring advanced clinical skills.
•Undertakes leadership in the development of nursing specialty clinical practice service delivery in the ward/service; or
•Undertakes primary case management within a defined specialty involving both inpatient and community based services.

You will exercise extended autonomy of decision making and professional knowledge and judgement in providing complex care requiring advanced clinical skills.
You will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team in the provision of person-centred care; and lead, support and supervise other nurses/ midwives and care roles. About the Role
As a Registered Midwife in Cootamundra, you will play a vital role in providing safe, evidence-based, woman-centred care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. What You'll Be Doing:
