No two shifts are the same in Armidale Hospital's Emergency Department. You'll care for patients across the lifespan presenting with a diverse range of acute and urgent conditions, from minor injuries through to complex, critically unwell patients.

You will:
- Develop comprehensive assessment, and emergency nursing skills through a structured orientation and learning program.
- Initially care for lower-acuity and clinically stable patients within designated Emergency Department areas, including waiting room and consultant rooms.
- Receive ongoing education, support and mentorship from experienced emergency nurses.
- Progressively expand your scope of practice and clinical responsibilities as your skills and experience develop.
- Be supported to transition into higher-acuity areas of the Emergency Department as you achieve competency milestones.

Does the fast pace of a Surgical Unit appeal to you? Royal North Shore Hospital's Colorectal, Upper GI and Gastroenterology Ward is looking for Registered Nurses to join their dynamic nursing team. Positions are being offered on a Full or Part time temporary basis.
Ward 8B has a strong focus on multidisciplinary team work, with cross referrals between the physicians and surgeons, and daily team meetings. The Ward is supported by enthusiastic nursing staff, a variety of allied health professionals, Clinical Nurse Consultants for Stomal Therapy and Total Parenteral Nutrition, and a Ward Based Clinical Nurse Educator. The senior staff on Ward 8B includes Clinical Nurse Specialists. Staff are provided with a supportive environment, and are encouraged to extend their skills. We also provide a Structured Orientation and Preceptorship program. A Stomal Therapy Certificate course is offered through the NSW College of Nursing.

What you'll be doing

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated team in this critical frontline role delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families.
As the Enrolled Nurse, you will:
- Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing/midwifery care in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of safety and learning.

- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Enrolled Nurse.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
