InstantScripts Pty Ltd View all jobs
Posted 17 day(s) ago
Reference: Ad12/10/2026
You chose general practice for the patients, the variety and the relationships. You didn't choose it for running 40 minutes behind, drowning in paperwork or spending your day stuck in the same four walls. At InstantScripts, you keep the medicine and drop the grind. You'll earn AUD $200 to $250 per hour from home.
The Role
We're inviting expressions of interest from hospital-based doctors, GP Registrars and Fellowed GPs to provide telehealth consultations from home. These are Independent Contractor (ABN) roles, so you choose when you work and how much, subject to our roster requirements and a minimum hour’s commitment.
General Practice, On Your Terms
Your hours, your call: Work a full day, a few school-hour sessions or an evening top-up.
No commute, no rooms, no waiting room: You can consult from anywhere in Australia, and your day starts as soon as you log on.
Be there for what matters: School drop-off, pick-up, sport, appointments: you build your consulting around your life.
Earn AUD $200 to $250 per hour: Get paid well for your expertise, with the flexibility to scale up or down whenever you need to.
Real General Practice, Safely Done
Uncompromised clinical standards: We have rigorous clinical governance, overseen by both Wesfarmers Health and Wesfarmers Boards. You'll practise real medicine, in an environment built to protect your registration and your patients.
Less admin, less mental load: You'll have access to My Health Record, AI-assisted note taking and an extensive clinical knowledge bank, so you can spend more time on clinical decisions and less on paperwork.
Secure prescribing: We use two-factor authentication and hold ISO 27001 (ISMS) accreditation, so you get security protocols that set the standard in telehealth.
A GP community that has your back: You'll join a collaborative network of GPs with quick access to clinical support and shared knowledge, plus our GP Assistance Program for your wellbeing.
What You'll Need
Fellowship (FRACGP/FACRRM) or VR status, or current enrolment as a GP Registrar
At least PGY4 experience
Current AHPRA registration with no conditions or limitations
The right to work in Australia (we can't offer sponsorship)
Australian residency (working from overseas isn't an option)
Strong communication skills and confidence using technology
Ready to Practise Differently?
If you love general practice but want more control over your time, we'd love to hear from you. Submit your expression of interest today via our careers page https://www.instantscripts.com.au/doctor-careers and help shape the future of healthcare in Australia.
