About the Role  

Join our team as a Mental Health Clinician on a part time 0.5EFT, fixed term (21st September 2026- 19 September 2027), to work at CASEA based at Oakleigh.

In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of Nadia Rakiposki, the Manager, and will be working with the broader CASEA team.

The Monash Health CAMHS and Schools Early Action (CASEA) Program is a joint initiative with the Infant, Child, Family and Youth Area Mental Health Service, the Department of Health, Department of Early Education and Childhood Development (DEECD) and Catholic Education Office of Melbourne (CEOM). Designed as an early intervention program, the CASEA program is delivered in school settings to children identified as being at risk of developing significant behavioural and emotional difficulties, including Conduct Disorder and related emotional challenges such as anxiety, low mood, and difficulties with emotional regulation. The program adopts a universal approach, incorporating professional development for teachers, ongoing upskilling through secondary consultation, and the delivery of group programs for children and parents identified as being at risk.  

The key components of the role include:  

• Provision of group interventions to children and parents identified in collaboration with education staff and working in collaboration with education staff to deliver these interventions  

• The identification and assessment of children and parents for suitability for group interventions, undertaken in collaboration with education staff.  

• Provision of therapeutic support to the ‘system’ around the young person in a collaborative and reflective partnership with other involved agencies.  

• Primary and Secondary Consultation  

• Education and Training to education staff  

• Facilitation and coordination of appropriate referrals following assessment to relevant mental health service providers (primary care, public or private mental health service sector), where CASEA group interventions are deemed inappropriate.  

• Working collaboratively as a member of the CASEA multidisciplinary team and sharing team duties

About the Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service

The Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (OAMHWS) at Monash Health includes Acute Aged Psychiatry Inpatient Units and Community Mental Health Teams comprised of Aged Psychiatry Assessment Teams, a Residential Support Program (for mainstream nursing home residents), a Psychogeriatric Nursing Home InReach Team and an Intensive Community Treatment team.  The Service currently employs 11 Consultant Psychiatrists across its two key sectors (based at the Kingston Centre and Dandenong Hospital/ Endeavour Hills) and there is an active research and training program. About the Role

Monash Health is seeking Consultant Psychiatrist(s) with an interest in joining its Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (OAMHWS), Mental Health Program, on a Temporary basis. Appointment(s) to this role will assist in covering planned leave within the Service. This role is available for appointment from now through to January 2027.  The Mental Health Program is one of the largest providers of clinical mental health services in Victoria.  The successful candidate(s) will work in a multidisciplinary team setting to provide the clinical leadership and vision needed to develop a strong recovery-oriented practice in the care of older adults living with mental illness, including behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.  Patients are referred from a variety of sources including the OAMHWS triage service, medical and surgical wards, residential care services, and emergency departments.  Monash Health is committed to providing high quality of care to its patients in the program and this position would meet demands in the rapidly growing south-east region of Melbourne. About the Role 

An exciting opportunity is available for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the Continence Service within Specialist Clinics. Based at Monash Health's Thomas Street, Dandenong and Kingston Centre, this role also offers the opportunity to travel to other Monash Health sites as required.

• Manage your own independent caseload with a focus on pelvic floor, bladder, and bowel dysfunction
