The Opportunity
Based in Southeast and Outer Southeast Melbourne, you'll provide evidence-based, person-centred Occupational Therapy services across a varied community-based caseload.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence-based, person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
Completing functional assessments, intervention planning and clinical reports.
Providing services within homes, schools, early learning settings and the community.
Collaborating with families, educators, support coordinators and other professionals.
Working alongside our multidisciplinary team across Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Psychology.
Managing your own diary and availability, with administrative and operational support.
Travelling throughout Melbourne's Southeast and Outer Southeast suburbs.

Hold current AHPRA registration.
Have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Are comfortable travelling throughout the Southeast and Outer Southeast suburbs.

Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Are confident working autonomously within a community-based role.
Have experience within NDIS, paediatrics or community allied health, or an interest in working within these areas.

About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an Undergraduate Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join the team at the new Tamworth Mental Health Unit, servicing the New England North West region.
This brand-new, purpose-built facility features 37 inpatient beds, including:
- 20 adult mental health beds
- 5 high-acuity beds
- 4 beds for younger people
- 8 older persons mental health beds
The Tamworth Mental Health Unit delivers contemporary, recovery-oriented care within a modern therapeutic environment designed to support consumers, families and staff.
Care is provided by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, incorporating medical, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, social work and allied health professionals. Consumers are encouraged to participate in a structured therapeutic program focused on engagement, social connection, education, skill development and improving both mental and physical wellbeing. As an Undergraduate AIN, you’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within a specialist mental health setting while building your clinical skills and confidence alongside experienced clinicians. From day one, you’ll be supported through a comprehensive orientation program, regular in-service education and access to ongoing professional development, supervision and mentoring.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will support Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to deliver safe, person-centred and recovery-focused care to consumers within the inpatient mental health setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting consumers with activities of daily living, including personal care, nutrition, mobility and comfort.
- Undertaking delegated consumer observations and reporting changes in behaviour, mental state or physical health.
- Supporting consumers to participate in therapeutic, recreational and group activities.
- Assisting with routine clinical tasks within your scope of practice.
- Maintaining a safe and supportive ward environment.
- Accurately documenting delegated care and observations.
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care.
This role works within a clearly defined scope of practice under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse and reports to the Nurse Unit Manager through the Registered Nurse in Charge.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in mental health nursing while working in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
About You
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable undergraduate nursing students who are passionate about mental health and eager to build their clinical skills.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Nursing program.
- Successful completion of first year and first semester/trimester of second year of an undergraduate nursing degree.

The Team
The Pharmacy Education and Development team work as part of the broader pharmacy leadership team to establish and promote the positive culture of being a learning organisation to ensure that pharmacy services deliver relevant education, professional development and training frameworks for pharmacy staff, including pharmacy interns, early career pharmacists and new to hospital pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
The Role
- Lead the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of pharmacy education programs
- Build capacity for the pharmacy service to provide high quality training programs
- Where required, establish relationships with universities and act as the interface between the pharmacy service and the university regarding pre-entry student placements
- Work with existing structures in the department to provide clinical leadership, support and supervision to pharmacy interns, pharmacy technicians, early career pharmacists and pharmacists transitioning to hospital practice
- Work in partnership with other Statewide Pharmacy Educators and Leads, Discipline leads/Managers and universities to build productive networks and facilitate interdisciplinary education, training, professional development and research opportunities.
You will need
- Extensive experience delivering contemporary pharmacy services in a range of activities including dispensing, patient counselling, clinical pharmacy, manufacturing, and drug information, preferably in a hospital setting, including demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practice, clinical governance, clinical risk management, clinical standards, relevant legislation, research and ethics.
- Extensive clinical leadership experience with pre-entry students, early career and new to hospital pharmacy staff and the demonstrated ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate learning activities, resources and professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant professional competency standards/professional capabilities; professional accreditation standards; contemporary education practices; and competency assessments, and their application to training pharmacy staff.

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 6 June 2027.

Salary
$131,122 to $138,984 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

About the Department / Program
The Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU) is a 50 bed unit based at Dandenong Hospital that provides medium to long-term inpatient treatment and rehabilitation for people who have continuous and severe symptoms of mental illness. Monash Health SECU accepts people from the catchment areas of; Eastern Health, Peninsula Health, Monash Health and Alfred Health. Our collaborative multi-disciplinary team is made up of; Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Clinical and Neuro Psychologists, Exercise Physiologist, Dietician, Music Therapist, Psychiatrists and Mental Health Nurses. The multi-disciplinary team provide treatment and psychosocial rehabilitation programs optimising individual function, for return to community living. NDIS plays an integral part in providing psychosocial support and care for our consumers and families during their stay supporting community transition.
About the Role
The position provides psychological services to consumers in the Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU). SECU is a 50 bed sub-acute adult psychiatric inpatient unit, based at Dandenong Hospital. The multi-disciplinary SECU team (MDT) provides medium to long-term inpatient treatment and rehabilitation to consumers who have unremitting and severe symptoms of mental illness or disorder, who are unable to be effectively treated in a less restrictive setting and are unable to live independently.
The focus of the position is to provide evidence-based psychological services to consumers of SECU who present with conditions including schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders and co-morbid substance use disorders, cognitive impairment and/or behaviours of concern.

About the Role

Based at Cranbourne Community Hospital, this is a fixed term part-time position (0.8 EFT until October 2027) will see you provide operational and clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team supporting children, young people and their families.
Working in partnership with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Community Mental Health Service Manager, you will lead a diverse team of clinical, lived experience and wellbeing professionals, supporting high-quality, coordinated and culturally responsive care. Key Responsibilities will include:

What you'll be doing

About the opportunity
We are looking for experienced RPN Grade 3's or equivalent to join Mercy Mental Health Casual Bank to cover planned leave and short notice vacancies within the CATT and EMH teams.
- The role of the CATT Clinician is to provide intensive clinical assessment, treatment and support services to known clients who are in acute psychiatric crisis or at risk of relapse.
- The EMH Clinician provides intensive clinical assessment, treatment and support services to clients who are in acute psychiatric crisis who present to Werribee Mercy Hospital ED, PACER or the MMH Triage service.
- In both roles you will form part of a multidisciplinary team & will be required to provide highly responsive & flexible service to consumers & carers.
Qualification/ registration requirements
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with successful completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or a Post Graduate Psychiatric/mental health nursing qualification or
- An approved degree in Psychology and registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or
- Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or
- A recognised degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA) team as a Counsellor/Advocate. We have a full time, fixed-term, opportunity until October 2027. Based in Dandenong, this role is open to Social Workers and Psychologists who are passionate about supporting people impacted by sexual assault and family violence.
As a Grade 2 Counsellor/Advocate you will provide high quality trauma focused counselling and therapeutic interventions, driven by frameworks of intersectionality, gender equality, anti-oppression, and a human rights-based approach. This position requires a truly collaborative approach, working with clients, their families and key agencies, within the scope of current legislation and professional guidelines. Key purpose of this role includes:
- To provide counselling and therapeutic interventions to people who have experienced sexual assault and/or family violence
- To undertake evidence-based and trauma focussed assessments, case formulation, goal setting, counselling, and crisis response
- To work collaboratively with the client and key agencies to advocate for, assess and respond to identified risk
- To contribute to the After-Hours rosters

The South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA) is a specialist service supporting people who have experienced sexual assault and family violence across Melbourne’s south-east. Our work is grounded in safety, respect, empowerment and recovery. We provide specialist therapeutic support to adults, children, young people and families, recognising that every person’s experience, needs and pathway to recovery are different.
As part of SECASA, you’ll work alongside a passionate and experienced multidisciplinary team delivering counselling, advocacy, assessment and therapeutic interventions. Our work extends beyond individual support – we also partner with services and communities through education, professional training, advocacy and prevention initiatives to help create lasting change.

About You
You are a skilled Social Worker or Psychologist with demonstrated clinical experience supporting adults who have experienced complex trauma related to sexual assault and/or family violence. With experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and external agencies, you are committed to enhancing the wellbeing and safety of your clients. You possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, building trust and rapport with both colleagues and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes.
