What you'll be doing
Merit Selection

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases

RHW is close to some of Sydney's best beaches, restaurants and sporting facilities and only fifteen (15) minutes from the Sydney Central Business District and harbour, adding a quality lifestyle to the satisfaction that comes from working within a committed and decided team. The Royal Hospital for Women is situated between the University of New South Wales and Coogee Beach.
The provisional fellow will work as a Senior member of the JMO team, based in the anaesthesia department at the RHW. The purpose of the position is as follows:
- To consolidate and develop specialist skills, knowledge and attributes consistent with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) Roles in Practice (CanMEDS Framework) to allow progression to independent consultant level practice as a specialist anaesthetist and fellow of ANZCA.
- To provide clinical anaesthesia services at the RHW inclusive of high risk and routine obstetric anaesthesia services, elective and emergency surgical services (obstetrics, gynaecology, gynae-oncology, breast surgery) and perioperative medicine (outpatients clinics, pain management and high acuity care).
- To lead the trainee staff, assisting with the education, supervision and welfare support of trainees in training and the administration of trainees' affairs including rosters and leave arrangements.
- To contribute to the development of quality assurance and safe practices, including oversight of departmental morbidity and mortality meetings, audit and clinical guideline development as outlined in the ANZCA policy document TE9: Guidelines on Quality Assurance.
- To be involved in patient education and the education of non medical health care professionals.
- To participate in departm ental research activities.
- Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role
- Advanced ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care, in particularly, high acuity obstetric anaesthesia.
- Advanced ability to assess and optimise patients with high complexity needs in the perioperative clinic or other preoperative setting.

The Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) provides junior doctors with a comprehensive and rewarding experience in the care of women throughout pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, trainees are actively involved in the assessment and management of antenatal and postnatal patients, labour ward care, emergency presentations and complex obstetric cases. Under the supervision of experienced Obstetricians, Advanced Trainees, Unaccredited Trainees, SRMO, RMO and Midwives, doctors develop skills in clinical decision-making, patient-centred care and the management of both routine and high-risk pregnancies.
As a major tertiary referral hospital, RNSH offers exposure to a diverse patient population and a broad range of obstetric presentations, including maternal medicine, multiple pregnancies, fetal complications and obstetric emergencies. What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the position is to provide quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a complex clinical environment whilst developing higher professional maturity and professionalism during the RANZCOG Advanced Training Program, with the goal of obtaining FRANZCOG. About Our Role
Our Provisional Fellow in Orthopaedic Surgery (Neurospinal) provides effective clinical management of adult elective and emergency spinal patients including spinal cord injured surgical patients, under appropriate supervision, whilst developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment. The Provisional Fellow is a key person who works closely with all members of a multi-disciplinary team and deals with matters of an urgent or sensitive nature, whilst exercising discretion, sensitivity and maintaining confidentiality.
This role is suitable only for surgeons in an early stage of their career who wish to build on skills developed during the initial phases of their training.
Decision making and supervision will be at the appropriate level according to the doctor’s skills, knowledge and experience. The medical officer will be expected to adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to their experience, under the guidance of and at the discretion of the appropriate Attending Medical Officer (AMO). All patients managed within the hospitals of the health service are under the direct care of a specialist medical practitioner. All decisions regarding their care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.

The Role
As a Clinical Nurse Educator in SESLHD you will deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to Intensive Care Unit within Prince of Wales Hospital
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide for the delivery of clinical nurse/midwife education, and perform the following:
- Deliver competent nursing education in ICU
- Contribute to the development of colleagues and identify learning needs
- Support less experienced staff and acts as preceptor for new staff (when delegated this function)
- Support the orientation of new staff to ICU
- Provide day to day clinical education support and clinical supervision at the point of care
- Provide 1:1 informal education
- Provide support for skill development in clinical procedures, professional development, clinical policy
development and an in-service program for ICU - Implement and evaluate education programs

The Role
The CNE provides coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical nurse education (including programs) at the ward/unit level. What you'll be doing
The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives’. SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.
SESLHD’s Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Services (SHBBV) provides leadership, innovation and research in the sector. Services within SHBBV are involved in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs) and blood borne viruses at an individual and population level within SESLHD, as well as four statewide services.
Across these services, care is provided via fixed locations and outreach networks to a client base of approximately 28,000 individuals. SHBBV has highly skilled and diverse staff including nursing, medical, allied health, health promotion, administrative and technical staff. It is the largest SHBBV service in Australia.
The Albion Centre is one of three facilities within the Sexual Health clinical services which also includes Sydney Sexual Health Centre and Short Street. These services provide free testing, treatment and management to people effected be HIV, sexually transmitted infections, viral hepatitis as well as Transgender and gender diverse care.
A key focus of the position is to provide a range of specialist services including HIV management, sexual health assessment, screening and treatment, pre and post exposure prophylaxis, vaccination, health promotion, and care to Transgender and gender diverse clients. The role is primarily based at the Albion Centre.
The role will work in collaboration with local interdisciplinary teams to ensure a streamlined approach to client centred delivery of care across the three Sexual Health facilities. Cross facility support and travel may be required where necessary.

The program will commence on Monday 8 February 2027.

Garrawarra Centre thrives on providing quality, person-centred care for elderly people who have a primary diagnosis of Dementia and associated behaviours. What you'll be doing
To provide effective clinical management of patients, under appropriate supervision by Attending Medical Officers (AMOs), including patient assessment, making treatment decisions, performing procedures and maintaining adequate medical records; and to develop expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment. The Medical Oncology Advanced Trainee will be in an accredited Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) training program within the Medical Oncology Department in a network of hospitals, or an individual hospital. The Advanced Trainee will be assigned to the Medical Oncology Department for the specified term and will undertake specific tasks and responsibilities at that Hospital. The Advanced Trainee will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and supervise junior medical officers (JMOs) and medical students.
