A Metropolitan NSW hospital requires Registrar/PHO in Psychiatry for the following date(s).

Shift(s) details as below:

from 03/08/2026 08:00 to 01/11/2026 17:00 at $180 per hour - 2 positon(s)

Reviewing patients in an inpatient, community CAMHS setting or ED ensuring appropriate referral to the relevant team. - Ensuring that all reports and forms required under the government legislation are completed legally and within the required timeframes. - Assessment along with a clinician/ consultant of new clients and their families/carers referred to the service - An active role in delivering short term evidence based treatment to clients of the service and participating in the management of these clients and their families/carers. - Involvement in developing relationships with governmental and non-governmental agencies involved in the treatment of clients and families under their care - Ensuring appropriate transfer of care arrangements for all clients and families under their care in collaboration with Team Leader and team members - Completing discharge summaries within required time frames - Ensuring Liaison occurs with the GP or other primary care personnel and also community mental health staff
