Are you a passionate Registered Nurse who enjoys working with older people and supporting them to achieve their best possible health and wellbeing outcomes?
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Transitional Aged Care Unit (TACU) at Nepean Hospital. Our Transitional Aged Care Unit provides an important link between acute hospital care and the community, supporting older people to regain their strength, confidence and independence following an illness, injury or hospital admission. Through a restorative and person-centred approach, we work alongside patients, families and carers to support recovery, maximise functional capacity and facilitate safe transitions to home or an appropriate ongoing care environment.
As a Registered Nurse within our Transitional Aged Care Unit, you will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, individualised care that promotes recovery, reablement and independence. You will play an important role in supporting older people through their recovery journey, recognising that every patient has unique needs, goals and aspirations. You will be a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about working with older people and supporting them to maintain or regain their independence.
You understand the importance of looking beyond a patient's immediate medical needs and recognising their individual strengths, abilities and potential for recovery. Working in the Transitional Aged Care Unit offers a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and see the difference your nursing care makes in their recovery and everyday lives.
If you are passionate about older people's care, enjoy working as part of a team and want to be part of a service that supports people to regain their independence and return to living life to the fullest, we would love to hear from you.
