We are currently seeking an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant for a six-month full-time placement in Mornington, Victoria, combining private practice and hospital-based work.

This is a genuine private practice opportunity and would suit a specialist with strong experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology. Please note that candidates with an obstetrics-only background will not be suitable, as gynaecological expertise and relevant qualifications are essential.

Position Highlights

Logistics
• Flights and accommodation provided (if required)
• Use of the doctor's vehicle throughout the placement
• Accommodation can be tailored to the successful candidate's circumstances, including family and pet requirements

On-Call Requirements
• Monday to Friday on-call coverage for the doctor's private patients (approximately 8-12 patients per month)
• Participation in a shared weekend hospital on-call roster, remunerated on a fee-for-service basis
• No Emergency Department or after-hours gynaecology commitments
• After-hours hospital work is limited to obstetrics and birthing services
