About the role

As a Registered Nurse, you'll work across the Emergency Department, Acute Care and Residential Aged Care settings, providing high-quality care to patients across all stages of life. Utilising your Rural Generalist nursing skills, including Triage and Advanced Life Support capabilities, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe and responsive healthcare within a supportive rural environment.

Working a 24-hour, 7-day rotating roster, you'll take on a Team Leader role after hours, coordinating and supporting a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Assistant in Nursing/Residential Staff Assistants.

Medical support is provided through the Virtual Rural Generalist Service (vCare) and onsite Visiting Medical Officers, while additional professional support is available from a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Educator, Nurse Manager and Health Service Manager.

If you're a confident and adaptable nurse who thrives in a varied clinical environment and is passionate about making a difference in rural communities, we'd love to hear from you.
