A locum Specialist Anaesthetist is required for a 5-day block from 12/10/2026 to 16/10/2026 at a Northern NSW Hospital.

Monday 12.10.26 0800-1800: All Day Elective Orthopaedic List
Tuesday 13.10.26 0800-1800: Emergency Theatre
Wednesday 14.10.26 0800-1800: All Day Elective Urology List
Thursday 15.10.26 0800-1800: AM Elective Urology List / PM: To Be Confirmed
Friday 16.10.26 0800-1800: All Day Elective Orthopaedic List

No on-call requirement. Travel and accommodation costs covered. It is not viable for locums to depart on the 1650 flight on Friday afternoon as they are required to be available until the elective list has been completed.

• 28 Surgical Beds
• Shift times: 0700-1530 / 0700-2100 / on-call
• Staffing levels for each shift time: 4FTE Registrars, 5FTE JMOs, TRRH only has VMO General Surgeons who attend daily to the hospital for rounds and Theatres. ; Surgeons share on-call; egistrars share the on-call and weekends and ED and Theatres will ring the Registrar after hours in the first instance to review patients in ED or preparing patient for Emergency Operations. Registrar will need to contact the Surgeon on-call when they have assessed the patient.
