A North Western VIC hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Surgery from 11/11/2026 to 29/11/2026.

General Surgery Registrar
PGY4+
-Recent Surgical experience essential
-On call shifts included
$160p/hr rate for ordinary hours, overtime and recall hours.

Recalls/Overtime:
-When rostered for on call duties, this will begin at the start of the shift and end at 2200hrs when the Surgeon takes over.
***However, if an emergency procedure is to take place, they will be expected to return to the health service to assist the surgeon up until 0730 the following morning.
-They will be paid for their time spent at the health service providing an overtime form has been completed and signed by a supervisor.
-Please note: Any remote work/remote recalls (phone calls) will not be compensated for.

• A 143 bed (including Aged Care) fully integrated rural public health service, employing around 630 staff and service a 100 km radius area with an estimated catchment area of around 35,000 people.
• Located on the Murray River in rural Victoria 344 km north west of Melbourne.
