Locum Staff Specialist in Child and Youth Psychiatry required for a placement from ASAP to 6 November 2026 at a Coastal Queensland Health Service.

Roster: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.

The Community Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CCYMHS) is a specialised mental health service for children and young people (0-18 years) and their families within the immediate Townsville area. CCYMHS offers assessment and therapeutic services for children and young people who are experiencing moderate to severe psychiatric disorders or behavioural, emotional, and developmental problems affecting all areas of their daily lives. The consultant has registrar, junior doctor, and a multi-disciplinary team support.

[ x ] Documentation
[ x ] Inpatient cover (wards)
[ x ] Outpatient clinics

The rate is $2300.00/day

• Accommodation reimbursed up to $200 per night
• Return domestic flights and hire car provided
• No weekend roster - Monday to Friday only
